Cabbing Druzy

So I cut the Chrysocolla side of the rock from the prior post. It was a little tough, being that I didn’t want to cut it wrong or lose any of the druzy. I then cabbed it and was really happy with the outcome. I also cabbed a piece Morrisonite that takes a shine like glass with very little effort. Love this stuff. Here’s a few clickable pics.

If you want to buy some awesome druzy, just go to Nuevo Mundo Imports he still has some rough and slabs for now anyway.

Well even if I haven’t been able to cab very much I have been playing with rocks. This dino bone pendant has take me a couple of weeks to finish. What’s up with that? I just couldn’t end it or something.
The druzy Chrysocolla-Malachite rock is prize from a member on the taogem forum. The druzy is spectacular. The crystals are so clear and shine like you wouldn’t believe. I hope to cut it and make a couple of sparkly pendants soon. The cabs, moss agate and Stone canyon jasper. I cabbed them up last weekend, just hadn’t gotten around to posting so there they are..

The Moss agate is from Rare Rocks and gems’ awesome sales, and the Amazing Chryso-Malachite from Nuevo Mundo Imports

Stay dry and safe!

New year new outlook

Love these three day weekends.. Wish they were all three dayers. The weather was pretty nice so we got to get out and do a lil rockhounding. Found some nice colored pet wood and just checked out the scenery. I also got to finish a few wraps. Fun weekend so far and another day to go.

Have fun!
