So Christmas is only a few months away and I plan on doing a small local show so here is the beginning of a wire wrapping frenzy. Plus I wrapped a couple of pieces of moldavite for a Mom and her daughter.

Today was a great day for cabbing. Not too hot and no interruptions. I had a few cuts of dino bone and a couple of others. So I just had to use them up. My saw blade is busted so I have to use up what’s already cut up. I go thru these stages where I really like a certain rock for awhile and then go on to another. But while I’m obsessed its all about that rock. lol Right now its dino bone. Boulder opal is always at the top of my list tho. There’s always time for a boulder opal.
I also finished up a wrap of the Berrendo agate from last weekend. My goal was to showcase the cab since the color is so intense. I also wanted to keep the middle of the cab unobstructed all the way thru where its transparent.

I hit a small sale, ok its where that last estate sale was. I saw a sign in the same vicinity and thought hey! Could it be? Well yes, yes it was. The same place as that estate sale from a few weeks ago. They even remembered me. How could they not, the crazy lady that wants rocks. They had found a few small vials with rocks and an old tumbler with some slightly tumbled stones. There was also a box of different stages of tumbling grit and a couple of very cool books. The books are pretty old but one of them is a book on where to find different rock in California. Its really interesting and hopefully will lead me to some great finds. I took it all of course.. here are some pics.

I was out with my cousin and Aunt when we saw a sign that said estate sale, so of course we had to see what they were selling. We pulled in and first thing I saw was a cab template. Now if there’s a template you know there’s rocks or cabs or sumthin! I asked for rocks and was told nope not any, wait maybe. Haven’t pulled everything out yet. No, it wasn’t that early. They were just really busy. Well a guy said let me show you something, tell me what you think. He led me to the back yard and against the wall was a small tub with some cut rock. He said he wanted to sell it but not sure how much. Well It was hard to tell what all was in it but needless to say I bought it and on the way out another box that had metal in it. I told him it looked like silver but, I wasn’t sure. Some of it is copper for sure, but I will have to check the rest out. At the bottom of the box there was some silver bezel wire and silver wire the rest I don’t know. Anyway I bought it all. Here are some clickable pics.
