I love amethyst. I’ve really enjoyed working some Chevron Amethyst this weekend. I worked up a cab last weekend and its a wrap. Today I worked a couple of cabs, but only have one to show. The other was a sacrifice to the wind. I hate it when you get to the last wheel wheel, think yeah it’s looking pretty good then in a quick flash, it’s gone. I looked everywhere but who knows where that cab flew to. I hope to get some more done tomorrow, we shall see.

Well I have finally finished a wrap. I’ve been taking it sorta easy for a few days, due to my lil accident. Its been ok tho, just a little recharging. This is a piece that you will notice in a prior post that just wasn’t finished. The flower is from outside of my house just like the others.
Thanks for coming by!!

The best thing about the bay area is the weather. Usually that is. Today the sun got us into the hundred degree stuff! Yesterday was just as bad too. That said outside activities were morning ones and then outta the heat the rest of the day. I did my best to make a new piece or at least start one but to no avail. I have wrappers block. That’s what my husband calls it. lol 🙂 I finished one pendant that I had started during the week and thats about it. I was wanting to break out and try something a lil different so, yeah, scrap metal baby!.. I know your probably tired of the lil green stones I’m so happy about but seriously, I’m gonna show you the other one I had in the first batch then I promise to keep going with new stuff. That said here ya go….
I hope you all had a great weekend.
Stay cool!

This is one of the scarabs from the past estate sale along with a very pretty blue tourmaline.
I loved the way the cab was carved into a scarab and just couldn’t wait to wrap it up. It needed silver. I felt the lil blue would be happy to keep it company.
Day to play!

Wow, great weather for cabbing and just being outside. The sunstones I bought last weekend have been of really good quality. I wish I could capture the chatoyancy in a picture. They are just beautiful and I’m sure they’re gonna make great pieces of jewelry. Well here are a couple that are finished as well as a couple of Mexican fire opals with different colors that are much more vibrant in person.
Also polished are these 2 pendants

Man its hot!! Not the usual for this area, and I’m so not used to it anymore. I did take the time to polish a few pieces of jewelry and take a few pics this past weekend. So here they are…

Mexican Fire agate
The sunstones were a nice buy at the gem and mineral show this past weekend in Santa Clara. Which was the best gem show I had been to in a very long time.
I hope you like, thanks for looking…If you’re interested in any of the pieces click on the link at the top right, where it says shop here.
